The Canberra Blues Society (CBS) is conducting workshops for interested musicians, performers from beginners to intermediate standard and for anyone, CBS member or family and friends who would like to learn more about “The Blues”.
The next workshop is on "GUITARS" and will be held on Saturday 13 June 2026 from 2pm - 4pm in the Keller Bar at the Harmonie German Club Narrabundah.
The Workshop is being conducted by Artem Grigoriev and Jenny Spear. There will be a comprehensive focus on playing Rhythm Guitar including the structural heartbeat of the music , tips and techniques, gear and tone. All participants are encouraged to bring their guitars to practice shown techniques etc on the fretboards.
In addition, all participants will be given a history of “The Blues” from its beginnings to where it has developed to today. It will highlight the instrument or vocal style being conducted at each particular workshop.
