Positions vacant

CBS is looking to fill the following volunteer roles: note that these are not paid positions but you get to contribute to the vibrant organisation that is the Canberra Blues Society as a member of the great team that is the CBS executive and committee.

Volunteer Coordinator

Volunteers play an essential role in the staging of CBS events. Activities including setting up, front desk staffing, selling raffle tickets and packing away after an event are all critical to our events. We are looking for someone to coordinate our volunteers for these events. This is a new role in the CBS and a position on the committee for the Volunteer Coordinator was created at our last AGM.

Key activities will include:

  • increasing the supply of volunteers,
  • defining the incentives for volunteer work,
  • working with Event Management to ensure that events are appropriately resourced, and
  • working with the management team to ensure that volunteer roles and activities are appropriately documented.

The will have the full support and commitment of the committee for you to make a success of this people management role.
