LAST CALL

NOTE: START TIME CHANGED TO 12 NOON

Liam and Claudia are the musical minds behind Last Call, a jukebox and genre-bending band bringing filthy blues, soul and RnB to the Canberra live music scene. Joined by talented friends Mansell Laidler, Naomi Smith and Hayden Kinsman, this blues band packs a whole punch of blues and a little extra.

Claudia, known for her glamorous get up, soulful vocals and diva persona entertains with a voice that will have you reminiscing on an old flame. Influenced by iconic performers like Aretha Franklin, Etta James and Diana Ross, she navigates the stage with dramatic flair and unbound joy, playing on her improvisation skills to entertain and surprise.

Pro face-melter Liam James was born to play. A young natural with a guitar in his lap, he lets his talented limbs do the talking (languages include blues, soul, funk, rock) and doesn’t shy away from a little Hendrix. His malleable style and creativity in action come in the form of surprising solos and riffs that will linger long after you’ve heard them. Safe to say, Liam’s passion for blues is felt by those whose ears are graced with the sound of his (many) guitars.

It’s the Last Call; and you don’t want to miss it.

Claudia Tetreault-Percy - vocals

Liam James - guitar

Mansell Laidler - bass

Naomi Smith - drums

Hayden Kinsman - keys

The host band will be followed by some of the finest musicians in the region jamming together for a great afternoon of live blues music. So bring your family, bring your friends and don’t forget your dancing shoes.
